Playing Sessions with Robert Foster

A wide variety of music edited and composed by Robert Foster is planned for two playing sessions on Saturday. During his time as Director of Bands at the University of Kansas - Lawrence, the University's Symphonic Band has performed at more MENC Conventions than any other band under the same conductor. We can all look forward to an exciting musical experience under Foster's baton.

Bring Band Materials to Share

Don't forget to coordinate with members in your band to bring materials to share with other bands. It is always interesting to see what other bands are doing and how they are doing it. Bring programs from past concerts, flyers for upcoming concerts, newsletters, anniversary booklets, anything you have to share. You might create a standing poster with one copy of each item on it and then stack multiple copies on the table. That way if you run out we can still see the variety of materials you use. If your band is as crazy as ours, you can even bring scrapbooks, photo albums, and band t-shirts, watches and underwear! We will provide the table. You must bring anything else you need for the display.
