Light Lettuce Salad

1. Romaine Lettuce..1 bunch, broken into pieces. A couple of Red Lettuce leaves add color.
2. Mandarin oranges--I use one small can, drained.
3. 1 small package sliced or slivered almonds.
4. 4 pcs turkey bacon (cooked between 2 paper towels 3 minutes in microwave). Optional...I never have used.

Oil & Vinegar Dressing

1. Canola oil - 6 Tbsp.
2. Sugar - 3 Tbsp.
3. RED WINE VINEGAR - 3 Tbsp. This is the secret that gives the zip. Don't substitute other vinegar.
4. Scant 1/2 tsp salt.
